    Plats are OK for FI. I'm running PK20TR-11 (twin tips) at 7psi. These are the stock plug for VVTI turbo soarers. Even if I go to a 7 heat range iridium in the NGK I still get detonation until I pull out timing. The heat range dosn't seem to make any differerence on the v8.

    Won't matter provided when the bypass valve opens, air dosn't flow in the reverse direction back through the AFM. This shouldn't be a problem for low boost applications. There is no blow off valve so what gets sucked stays in until used by the engine.

    Ok, I stand corrected. The power figure claimed by manufacturers dosn't include driving accessories. I don't think the SAE test method takes into account water pumps and oil pumps either.

    Soarers with about 70 000km on them must be suffering significant power loss since new if the loss is only 20-25%. Stock soarers should be putting 156kw on the back wheels instead on 120-130kW as is typically seen on dyno days.

    Transmission loss is normally between 30-35%. Manuals will be 1-2% less lossy as auto's have the oil pump to drive. I pulled 213rwhp so that'd be 304-328fwhp. Mods were headers and a fuel trim.

    Does your setup have the cold start injector? Might idle like a pig without it. If you run an aftermarket ECU then you can use the stock injectors for idle and startup, you don't need the cold start. Havn't tried without the rising rate under boost. It pings as it is. For normal driving and...

    The pipe work shouldn't affect boost. The supercharger will just see a huge intake manafold volume. There might be a bit of lag in building up the boost to full pressure due to the huge volume.
