Hi Guys a friend has the transmission with the yoke type driveshaft off a mid sump 1u. Could someone tell me whats it's worth without bellhousing. I have the rubber donut type trans and wanna do the swap. It's for my Starlet project (yep still working on it) Cheers, Ken

Some more work done.... engine mounts all done and alot of rollcage work, have built a box section chassis to join the two front and rear sections together.

The chassis turner looks great, did you have to lift the car upto 1160mm to attach it the turner?? Nice project keep the pics coming Ken

God what was I thinking, those mounts are horrible!!! My car is currently down at a mates race car shop, www.randdmotorsport.co.nz. I've removed the mounts and will build something nice. The cage is comeing along nicely, photos to follow........ Ken.

Turbos have arrived and look to be in good shape, I have found the info on them at the garrett website, They are GT2859R's http://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbobygarrett/catelog/Turbochargers/GT28/GT2859R_707160_9.htm From what I've read they are recommended on a 1.8-3.0litre engine, so two on...

Thanks guys I'm still looking, lots of work to do before I need them. The turbo on the wifes Surf (1kzte) just blew an oil seal or something so I have to fix replace that first. Ken.

Do you still have the rear rubber mount from the 1uz auto? I need one for my project. Nice swap your doing, the turbo just blew on our surf (1kzte) I'd luv to chuck a 1uzfe in. Ken.
