Zex ?

I have a 92 sc and I want to put a zex wet kit on it. I would like to know where is the best place to tap into the fuel line and what is the best way to do it. Also the Zex kit opens automatically at WOT All I have to do is hook the wire up to the TPS but as you all know I have two and they have lots of wires. Does anyone know what wire it is that I need to splice into?

y not do a NOS set up where there is a little lever you hook up right next to the throttle and when ever it hits WOT it pushes a little button and activates the solinoids.

Come on guys I find it hard to believe I'm the first person to ever try and put a Zex kit on an SC. Any help would be great.

I assume this is a wet setup. The location to tap for fuel is open to opinion, but this is where I tapped for my Cold Fusion setup. I replaced the banjo bolt from the fuelline that feeds the fuel rails.

The automatic WOT is a TPS voltage sensing switch like this.

You need to tap the VTA1 signal between the TPS and the ECU. On a 92 LS400 that wire is Yellow, check your wiring diagrams to verify wire color.
Hope that helps, if your Zex is a dry setup with fuel reference, you may want to talkto jibby since he runs a dry setup.

A particular Zex wet system might not have been done, but different systems were done successful on this forum. I've seen them before. I'm sure you'll find plenty of them, but you'll need to search around.
