Wanted WTB W58 Gear lever

I have a w58 gearbox that is missing a gear lever. I have tried all the usual places ie Dellows, Wreckers etc.

Does anybody have a spare for sale or know where I can get one?

If its the older style W5x box (ie, it doesn't have an external shifter linkage), then you can use a shifter from Supra, Celica, Corona - in the 1981-1992 range (RWD).

Yeh, I thought that as well. I went to Pick and Payless and got a few different levers out of Celica's and Corona's and the pivot ball seems to be bigger that the one I need. Any ideas?

measure the size and i'll have a quick look

The W50 pivot ball is bigger from memory, but ALL W55/W57/W58 balls are the same.

Its just the length/angle of the shifter that differs.
