Sorry to bring up this old thread. Did you ever decide on what you want? I want to get the Wolf but waiting to hear some real world experience with it. And what features it has. I am comparing it to the Haltech E11v2

Does The wolf have all the same features? Knock sensor, compensation maps everything to make it perform like OEM ECU's in all weather conditions.

I've downloaded both of the ECU's software, the Wolf seems to be more user friendly, but I still like having the familiar setup of the EMS...damn I dunno!!! I'm still going to investigate this I don't want to spend close to $2000 on something that wont do what I want it to!

i just did an 8860 on a 1uz

seemed ok just a pain to set up the tune depending on which cam sensor you use

i have done many microtechs on these and are piss easy to do

another thing to look for is how long to tune

i will always prefer autronic over any other ecu for tuning
it is so user friendly

i hate ems software takes ages to upload and **** and always has problems with new laptops with usb to serial adapters

i always say alot of aftermarket ecu companies do not spend enough money on developing the tuning software

I just found out the Wolf 500 doesnt have knock control. That is no good for forced induction. What do you think about the Haltech E11v2?

most tuners I know don't like knock sensors..
Getting the frequency right seems an issue...
