Where's my engine number?

Can anyone tell me where to find the engine number on my Crown 1UZFE?
I'm trying to do the paperwork for my 4runner conversion but can't find the number anywhere on the block?
Any sugestions would be great.

Did you ever find it? I'm also having the same problem...

On the front of the engine at the top under the waterbridge.

If you look carefully under the hot water outlet to the radiator you will see it.

It's pretty well hiden by the black cover that carries the spark plug wires between banks.

Thanks Zuffen, yes that's exactly where I found it. I'm still in talks with engineers at the mo so havnt had to prove it to any one yet!
