I picked up a 1UZ VVTi with the A650E transmission, driveshaft and harness three years ago for $1600, delivered. They were a lot rarer then than they are now.
Many people here probably wouldn't be as interested in the VVTi model as the earlier ones due to its more complex camshaft controls, weaker rods, etc.
Realistically, if you want to sell that motor, you probably should be price it between $500 and $1000, depending on its condition.

www.car-part.com shows the asking price of wrecking yards for price vs mileage. $800 for a VVT-I 1uz is a smoking deal.
If anyone can find me a deal like that on a 3uz, I promise to put it to good use.
