What are these manifolds from?

The bottom tube are early SC or LS400s. What car had the cast manifolds? Those are better than the tube manifolds from a flow standpoint. They would however be heavier. There is also the question of low engine speed reversion in which the tubes with their horrible flow design might actually be better at preventing. A case of not how it looks it should be.

I believe the Toyota Crown had the cast manifolds , a lot of guys here in Aus use them in conversions as they hug closer to the engine .

The only cast manifolds that I know of on 1UZ (jap Spec) is the ambulance hiace vans. I am expecting some to be delivered early this month so we can compare. I believe SC and LS have different manifolds (US spec) as Jap spec are different. The first crowns have logs but later maybe cast - cheers

My engine had the cast manifolds. It was from a 96 crown Majesta 151......
