Got the words from the horses mouth. The www.anderson-audio.com twin turbo SC430 dynoed at 605 rwhp only little over 1 bar. That is incredible......

Yeah.. I always would have figured that stuff that close to the belt, power steering etc wouldn't be fantastic for it.

I too would be worried about belt life.

I think some (or a lot of) heat shielding would not be a bad idea.

If all pipes are ceramic coated and then wrapped with some good exhaust manifold wrap there won't be a problem. I'd like to use one of those iR thermometers sometime to see the exact outside temp of coated pipes but I bet it is under 300f.

Lets be honest, Subaru stick their turbos right under the brake and clutch master cylinders and at 1bar, they're not going to be pumping out masses of heat.

Anyone know what turbos they used?
