Temperature sender

I want to connect a temp sender for the gauge on the dash, is the efi sender the only one? If it is, is there a plug somewhere on the water jacket i can remove and fit a sender? my gauge is working on 10v so really need to keep it seperate from the rest of the system.

On the front water bridge there are three coolant sensors. The biggest one with the light grey housing is actually the cold start injector thermostatic switch. The green one is the coolant sensor for the EMS, and the little one with the dark grey housing, and only a single connection is the one for the dash gauge.
