Recently I got a set of 11mm ARP Studs for the 2UZFE. I compare them with our 1UZFE main studs which are 10 mm. The 11mm is some massive comparing the two studs. I was wondering how two 4 11mm ARP main studs compare to four 10 mm ARP Main Stud with two 10 mm side bolt.

Anyone know what is the tensil strength for the 11mm and 10 mm?

Here is a good link ARP Stud Torque Recommandations The bottom of the page has 10 mm and 11mm.

In the 190,000 series:
10 mm preload is 15,998 lbs
11 mm 17,483 lbs

1,485 lbs per stud and Total net is 5,940 lbs.

Too bad we dont know the shearing strength of a 10 mm side bolts. Otherwise we can calculate the total strength. Shearing force and tensile force is totally different.
