Steering rack mount bushing for SC400

Does anyone know if it's necessary to replace "only" the steering rack bushing in the U bracket, on the passenger side? This one is worn out but I'm not sure about the driver side. Lexus dealer only has one for the passenger side, but an aftermarket kit has both sides and made of polyurethane. I like the Lexus part more. My SC is 140,000 miles. What do you think?

Any idea is greatly appreciate.

hi steve, i had the same problem on my ls400 after seeing about 8 experts, 1 bloke went straight to the problem, he showed me the rack rubbers while the car was on a hoist they were totally shot both sides & were moving with the rack ,my rack had been changed & looks new but they had not worried about the rubbers. in short change both sides & i thinck like mine, you will have brand new stearing,it fixed my problem. good luck nick in australia.
