Replacing 98 gs400 us 1uzfe to Jdm 1uzfe

Okay guys I need a little help I have a gs400 that has a blown motor in it. Looking around and I found a Jdm 1uzfe for 98-00 but it say that Jdm engines don't have the crank sensor/egr. My question is would it be a straight foward swap with transferring the crank sensor and emission stuff over or would I have to modify a lot? Any help would be appreciated.

The JDM engine does have a crank sensor.
Not sure of the smog laws but why not leave all the emission stuff off? It runs better without.
If you have to fit it then everything should be transferable from your old engine.

The smog laws are pretty strict here so it's a must have. Thanks for the info.

haven't ever seen any sort of egr system on jdm engine, but as you've been told above you can use the stuff from your old engine.

btw jdm 1uzfe can be off crown or celsior. The latter would have yet one more small difference with your blown motor, the vane pump for hydraulic radiator fan
