RB25 Gearbox

Hi all,

does anyone know if this will fit onto the 1Uzfe, is it a big job in comparison to the R154?

its the same amount of work as pretty much any other gearbox conversion.
I thought about doing this, but instead im going with the 350z conversion, same price for the gearbox, but an extra gear

ummm not really.. you need a custom flywheel, and the adaptor is tons of work . I have the 6 speed here in the shop and I have no intentions of making the conversion because it's a ton of work and it's not worth the money.

There are already adaptors you can buy for these boxes I beleive.

thanks for the replies will look elsewhere, having problems finding an R154 to use

another thing to look out for is if the rb box is going into
a Toyota vehicle then u need a signal converter for speedo
as Nissan has inductive speedo sensor and toyota has hall
effect so just adds abit more to price
and make sure u use the turbo box as thu are the bigger ones
compared to non turbo n over here the big rb boxes range in similar
price to the big Toyota boxes

Yeah was looking at the RB25 turbo 5 speed box, it's going into a mazda RX7 which is having all custom wiring done so that will eliminate the need to worry about the speedo
