prices for pump

I have that 'ol leaky steering pump thing happening to me

I've read here many a moon ago about it and now need to replace it.

Where have you who have done it before bought your new pump from?

Was it a remanufacture,OEM..etc.. and lastly,

What is a normal US$ for the pump and gasket set.

Get a new bearing and a rebuilt gasket kit.

Bought mine on Saturday, cost me $50AUD

rebuild PS pump is about 199 and rebuild kit is about 42 USD.

Car went to the shop an hour ago. I don't have the time nor tools to do the job.

My garage has done the timing and H2o pump with other sundries at very fair pricing.

I did see a few (searching for a while .....quite a while) for 200+-. Anyone know the reputation of "Maval" for replacement parts?
