does anyone know how to increase the idle speed on a 1uzfe. have fitted one to my hilux and got it running pretty good. cold start up idle speed is approx 1000 rpm. normal operating temp idle speed is around 300 rpm.
300 is pretty low. They often sit around 550. I would recommend checking out the idle air control first. Do you have the one which can be disassembled easily or the later one? A new set of bearings often makes a huge difference. Cheers
unsure of which IACV it is. the motor is a 1995 motor if that helps (large plastic cover on top). once it is certed and road legal i mite bring it over for you to check out kelvin, and maybe do a power run on the dyno to check the power.
