Lexus V8 into Surf/4runner

Hi all

I have had a quick search and cannot find exactly what I am lookin for
so I will ask the forum as I know there are a few really clever people here.

I want to put a lexus V8 into a surf/4 runner.
Which is the best year model to use or are they all the same
What is easier manual or auto?

Is it safe to use the gearbox already in the 4x4 or is it better to transplant
the lot.

Any recommendations for a kit as Castlemaine is not doing these anymore

Anyone recommend a workshop in Northern Sydney to do the conversion

Go to www.toyotasurf.asn.au. check out engine conversions then look up 4thsurf (me) most welcome to give me a call. Done one or two. Doing a KZN130 ATM, Mine is an LN130 or should I say now UZN130. Hardest part is working out where to put the ECU, but it is a very time consuming swap. Not hard to do tho
