Interior lighting problem

Hello guys...

I was wondering if anyone ever had this problem:

THe car when the lights are switched on the LCD on the stereo and A/C controls simply shuts off... none of the interior lights work... they will quickly, but just briefly light up and then shut down.

Any ideas??

I checked fuses etc etc etc.

Interior Lights

Have you tried turning the Light Dimmer up.
It is the knob to the left of the steering wheel on the panel below your speedo dash.

Of course i have doesn't work...

if i turn off the lights and quickly turn them on it will light for about 100ms and then light off.

Looks like u have a short somewhere...... or you might have weak alternator or battery....

No weak alt no weak battery there is a short somewhere i know, but i wanted to know if it was common in these cars since they have ALL the stupid problems you can think of...

Dash not lighting
Fuel gauge not working
A/C blacks out
Steering wheels locking and not moiving
bla bla bla bla and they still call these cars reliable.. well.. reliable in a sense.. but they are nag problems all around.
