I have in hands a 1GR FE with external Immo box.

I connected all wires that I assume are needed, but ECU did not even blink the security light. Is there something extra to connect to run the Immo Box?

I have the original harness, Immo Box, ECU, etc. I leave the key apart to test the imld blinking, but does not turn it on.

Any idea???

how did u wire the security led

the immob ecu sends power to the led
so the other side of the led needs to goto ground

also are u using a 12v led and not a normal tiny volt led

I use a 12V LED with one contact to IMLD from the IMMO box and the other to ground. (it turns on when I power the led).

Same thing that I test the IMLD output on a non IMMO box ecu.

But does not bring signals

well if the ecu is a non immob ecu then its probably never going to flash

the led wont turn on unless ignition is on

Must be IMMO, I got the complete harness from the door car, its even connected with the harness. And don't start actually.

Are IMMO boxes the same board with different part numbers? Thinking to try with another IMMO box.

its not an immob box
its a key transponder amplifier

do u remove all the ecu and loom and keys from the same car
or did the shop pull it out

u might have to go buy a scanner and see what error codes are on there

its not fun when they don't start is it
best to start testing afew things

try to remove the ky from the key reader
then turn ign on see if the led flashes

if the key is the correct key and its in the key reader and u turn ign on the led will turn on and then go off because the correct key is used

u might have other issues with the engine loom

If the key is not correct, or there is no key, it will continue blinking when on righ? like in the 1UZs??

u can also bridge out earth and tc wire on the diagnostic plug and it will flash the engine check light

if u get error 99 that normally means a problem in the immobiliser
