hi i want to replace my spark plug leads ? shall i buy factory toyota items ? or aftermarket ? are factory ones expensive ? what am i likely to spend ?

I was talking to my performance guy he stated he can make us custom Nology wires for the 1UZFE. I am interested, but might be costly.... around 350-400 per set.

I just bought some new Top Gun leads (Part # TG8046)They are made in Aus. Have'nt put them on yet. They look good
Same everything as factory Leads $190au
Still waiting on my new NGK Iridium plugs (IFR6T-11) $15.95au each to arrive from the US

Plugs turned up today
No duty to pay on them so they cost me $15.95 a plug
very happy with that
Only took 2 weeks to get here

purchased a set or titanium plugs as originally fitted, cost me $9.90 each NZD$
new set of leads from toyota NZ $329 NZD$ my car runs pretty dam nice now,

I personally like Magnacore leads and their website has a huge amount of info on the different types of leads and breaks many myths down as well.
I have used their 10mm ones on my other cars and never had a single failure.

Interesting read about the hot wires. I personally used them for many years in my cobra and no problem at all. Cyber do u know is Magnacore make wires for the 1uzfe?

I had some Top Gun leads and was suprised how fast the deteriorated.
