Help engine check light

Hi, just got the exhaust done on my enigine conversion (1UZFE into a 84 4Runner) when i turn the ignition on the check light comes on (as per normal i would think) then you start the car the check light goes out (as per normal i would think) the after car has started and is idling away check light comes back on and stays on (not normal i would think) the problem is when jumpering E1 to TE1 or TE2 with ignition turned off then turn ignition to on but not start the car the light is just pemanetly on no codes displyed.

also when i put the computer in i could not get any of the fuel pump wires to run the fuel pump so have the fuel pump running off the ignition.
