Help.1UZ into MS110 Crown Lowrider.

I currently own a 1980 Japanese import MS110 Crown Royal Saloon that i've turned into a lowrider. However after the chassis was wrapped, hydraulic rams,lines, and pumps installed, and 12deepcycle batteries bolted into the custom rack, the car has accumulated so much weight the standard 2litre six now struggles to move the car let alone accelerate up hills etc. We were originally going to drop the 2.8 5ME straight in and turbocharge it but i've decided that i'd prefer the 1UZ. I've heard of many people doing this exact conversion, however tracking them down to get any info seems to be a whole different story!
