Flex plate shims?

G'day,
We are in the process of converting our 1uz off-roader from manual back to auto
I have sourced the flex plate but need info on the shims.
Do I need the shims and if so can I buy them OEM?
This is the last peice if the puzzle so any help would be great.

The only "shims" I know of on the 1UZ is a 6mm doughnut that fits on the crank.

Other than that I've never seen nor heard of shims.

I have been told that there is two shims, one either side of the flex plate.

There is one spacer about 6mm thick and 125mm in dia that fits between the flexplate bolts and the flexplate.

It seems to be mainly to reinforce the flex plate as it doesn't alter it's position relative tot eh crankshaft.
