This is what I am doing (1uz to a HZ) I,ve got a mid sump
I heated and dented the cross member where the bottom and mid sump flange meet
then I cut and wielded bottom sump to the same rake/angle as the crossmember
I,ve got crown mounts So then I cut two short pieces of 16mm pipe(75mm long)
boged them to the dowels on the crown engine mounts and lowered the motor to the crossmember and cut each pipe to the right lenght to get the whole motor level and as low as I could. Once I was happy with the set up I tack/wielded the pipes to the crossmember, lifted the motor off leaving the pipes behind and built the new mounts around the pipes knowing that the dowels will locate on the new matching plate
