Crank Spigot Diameter?

Hi All,

I'm about to go hand a drawing over to a shop to get a flywheel turned up.

Hopefully I can read a set of verniers but just to check with people as it obviously a critical thing, what is the diameter of the crank spigot?
I measure a diameter of 41.80mm.

Approx 32mm inside dia .. The cam buckets fit in there with about 1mm play..

Hi XR8tt,

Thanks for that, i was actually thinking about the OD of the thing though.
I haven't got around to doing it yet but pulling the support bearing from the inside of the end of the crank and reading the numbers on it will pretty much give the xact ID of the thing.

The ID is 32mm.

The OD is best measured off the original flexplate.

Crank spigot for flywheel is 42mm.

The flex plate is NOT located by the spigot - it locates on the bolts. (got trapped by that before !)

Well ?? Yes it fits over the "outer" ridge on crank...
