Any comments on this combo. I can get them pretty cheap. I would questions about the engine mounts, oil pan and oil pick.

Engine mounts are different. The threaded holes are in different locations on the block. You could make mounts.

Of course it will be ~120 lbs heavier.

im curious to see how the block cast part of the mains are on the 2UZ.. if the dimensions are the same as the 1UZ we should be able to use 1UZ 6 bolt main caps and have a machine shop drill/tap the block for the 4 additional fasteners..

My bad... didnt know 2uz is only two bolt main.

it's always possible to get some 4 bolt main caps made up of tool steel ( with splayed outer bolts ) and get the block macined to suit.

Yes, it has been done. You would have a girdle made Or different main caps.
