1UZ vs. 3UZ Heads (Worked ie: Ported)

The 1UZFE EGR Delete Kit is available for sale here.
Are you guys really aware of the effort and cost involved in using VVTI heads on a Non VVTI engine.
For a start the oil returns are different.
You must use VVTI cams even though you may not use the variable valve control. Cams are not compatable between head types.
After market VVTI cams are much more expensive that Non VVTI cams.
Then there's the intake, which are not compatable between heads.
From memory the exhaust ports are different too.
Add up all the effort and $'s; a blower works out cheaper as an upgrade to a Non VVTI engine.

Certainly. Boost is an excellent cost effective choice for power, especially if the base motor just doesn't have a ton of capability on its own.
