- '89 Toyota Crown 1UZFE conversion, professionally fitted and wired
- Volks Conversions adaptor plate
- Motec MLS ecu (Jaustech)
- Custom exhaust: 2.25" Steel headers, and SS exhaust, high flow cats and mufflers (Airs Race Pipes)
- Holden V8 triple core radiator, mounted underbody with ducting and thermo fan
- Auto conversion from manual
- Type III 3 speed auto box (rebuilt and altered by CBB)
- Internal access hatch made twice as big for easy access

those rear stickers have been removed now..

Beetle Wreckers had a mid engined 1UZ powered Kombi ute around 15 years ago.

They were so far ahead of their time no one knew what a 1UZ was!

Sounds like fun.

Pity you hadn't left it manual it may have been able to do wheelies.

could use some stiffer rear suspension but other than that its pretty nice, keeping in mind it handles like a van... it gets up and boogies tho

good to see another south aussie on the forum.
mildrens is right next to my work, if i'd know it was on the dyno i would have loved to sneeked a look!
I did hear a sweet v8 belting around the block a couple weeks ago, i thought it may have been an X5 as i generally see one around the area... maybe it was yours????
