Hello everyone

Im new to this forum, but I have done a little bit of reading on the 1uz-fe and it seems like a great engine. Well anyway I recently purchased a 98 model Holden Rodeo with a 3.2 V6 motor, The motor is rooted and a good second hand unit is about $4000 with only 3 months warranty, and a change over recoed unit is worth $6200! Alot of money for a motor that aparently all suffer from oil pressure problems which causes them to blow up!!!!

My question is has anyone here done a conversion into a 98 rodeo?
Any help will be much appreciated

Thanks Geeman

do it.

measure the engine bay three times, then measure the engine. measure the engine bay twice more, then the engine again. measure the engine bay one more time and then the engine yet again.

that should make you see what will foul and what wont.

my guess is it'll fit quite easily - those rodeo V6s are tiny little units.

I would like to do it, But in order for me to get the car registered I have to source a 98 model or above 1uz-fe!

Is a 98 98 model or above 1uz-fe hard to find?

I have a 98 lux you dont actually need a 98 motor just one that was manufactured up till that date. Therefore the earlier 1uz will be fine.
