Well I want the best of both worlds. The low end grunt but I want the power to carry on longer than 2.5k RPM. I do not think an engine that is poochy until the last 2.5k of an 8.5k RPM range is very fun. That is why I am looking at more displacement.
I love Toyota's owned 2 JZA80 but have...
Damn sorry to see that. However I think you should pull the engine and make sure its all good. I am sure you can hook a memeber up with a hell of a deal on a built long block. NO CORE CHARGE:wink:
I agree. Facebook has the same sort of abilities. You can post up little blogs throughout the day. I guess when I am not out here I am not addicted to the NET like some people.
No sorry. For whatever the reason something about this website the government blocks it. I guess its considered porn for someone somewhere!! LOL Thanks for the info.
Do we have any pics or a price tag on this block?? What is it that makes it better than the Toyota 2UZ? Is it thicker in the thin spots?? All the bolt holes have beefier threads?? Stronger Material??
No but I have 2 reasons.
1. I am in Iraq and refuse to pay for a blackberry or something to Tweet with.
2. I don't want people knowing everywhere I am at every moment of my day. Its a bit to wierd if anybody can check my twitter site and see where I am. PARANOIA!!!
What about the 2UZ?? Are there any issues with the studs getting pulled out?? Have you fitted any 2UZ with 1/2" studs and made them any deeper? I would presume that if the 1/2" is doable then this would be a better route and a little easier on the pocket book.
Do the L19 and 1/2" studs have...
I do not see the contradiction. I asked how fast have you guys spun the engine. If a stock 4.7L has been spun to 9500RPM and this was without any problems then great. Then if you stroke it to 5.4L but reduce the RPM band you might have greater benefits. That is why I asked. Maybe you will get...
If you have both the paints on hand then I would try a little bit on something else. This is just to see how it comes out. You wouldn't want to have a Dull or flat black dash and shiney gauge mount. Have you thought about just putting new plastic on the whole dash? It is pretty easy to do. Pull...
