would one of these suit a 1uz? all stock internals, aftermarket ecu injectors & fuel system etc. Dont really know how much boost, prob 10-12 psi? Any suggestions welcome.

If it's the early 1uz it should take 12psi easily with a good tune. Make sure it's a 1990-1994 engine as the 95+ has the weak rods.
I am not a turbo guru... im sure others will shed some good light on your choice of turbo but I have heard the gt35R is a decent single for 1uz.

GT35R / T04Z 700 / 800 h.p turbo's... Gt4202 [800 to 1200 h.p] if your going NUTS !!
Check out Borg Warner S300 series ?? Like S366 /s375 ??
The T3 turbine can be alittle small on the GT35R [1.06 A.R] if higher boost levels are run ...Boost and retard timeing leads to heat in exhaust.. Heating centre causing bearing failure even though its water coooled...
