Hi All,
The names Mark and I'm from Kent (in England), I'm looking to rip out the Ol'boat anchor (2.4 diesel) and fit one of these fabulous V8 engines into my LJ70. I was hoping to fit it with the auto box, but after a quick look-see with the tape measure, this isn't going to happen due to the length. I will post up my specific questions in the 4x4 mod forum with regards to manual box queries. But I do have one general question! I've herd that some models have a mid or rear oil pan (oil sump), any one know what models or what years had what?
