Apparently they're good for 10k rpm. (the charger, not the engine its on)
Whatever boost you can get on whatever engine your talking about with the SC14 at that rpm will be the max boost for the supercharger before you start melting it. Not to mention its efficency wouldn't be very good at all around those RPMs (you'll be getting too much heat to have any extra gains).
"Boost" just means the engine can't take as much air as the supercharger/turbocharger is pushing into it. You can have 2 of the same engines (1GGZEs for example), one could have headwork and extractors and 5psi boost the other could be stock with 10psi boost and they both could be getting the same power AND both maxing out the SC14 supercharger (max rpm before melting it).
