Regasing the A/C

I need to get my cars air con totally regased.
I have looked everywhere under the bonnet to try find a sticker to say what gas is used but nothing.
Has anyone had there system done recently and knows ?

i beleive previous to 94 are r-12 and 94' and later are r134a

It diesn't matter what was in it anymore.

You can't get R22 it's been banned.

You need to re-fit for the replacement gas. Could be R134A but not sure.

It costs around $300.00 to change a few valves and the dryer.

Whenever you re-gas the new systems you have to dump all the old gas and put in all new gas. You can't top it up as it is installed by weight. if you put too much gas in it will cause problems.

I got my air-con regassed a few months ago for my 91 soarer for $110 and its use the R12 gas...

Neway u need to find a shop that still got the r12 gas, if not u'll need to convert to the new R134A gas..
