Rear Main Transmission Seal and Dif Seal Leak

Gang,

The power of the Turbo is showing its destructive results. After boosting 8-9 psi for about 2-3 months. This aging drivetrain is really showing its true color. Right now, my transmission main seal and read dif. seal is leaking oil. Not a good thing. Why is that? If course is the power the single turbo putting it through, but most important i think its the heat. I think with the extra power, the transmission is able to handle the heat.

I guess i would need a oil cooler now.

it's a surprise the stock auto's didn't come with a trans cooler... you might be able to use one from an auto supra turbo auto.....

The LS400 have an intergrated Oil cooler with the radiator.

just try a diff and trans cooler.
great investment for any car.
especially a highly stressed one.
