Mechanical Locker – No one knows?

Hey everyone, I’ve searched and posted this on a few other forums and no one knows, or can even help.

I’m after a mechanical locker for my LS400. Some say the LSD fit’s out of an auto Supra, how ever the likes of Cusco, kazaa ect don’t list any lockers for an auto.


I ideally want a 2 way mechanical – Is it possible to fit the Soarer or Supra diff housing into my LS400? Or even maybe a Mark2/Chaser?


Any help would be much appreciated!

I have heard from a friend with a LS400 and tried to put in a SC400 or the Supra LSD but it didnt work.

LSD Centre unit from Soarer(SC) or Supra (JZA80) will swap in. JZS147 Aristo too but they rare. Whole diffhead should go in, but will have to check bolt pattern onto axles/halfshafts are the same. Mark II/Chaser/Altezza/early Supra are different. Hope this helps!
