I'm checking the wiring diagrams of the LS430, the donor vehicle for one of my V8 swaps (into the IS200) and I see the main ECU interacts with the Transponder key computer through the signals IMI and IMO. Now I don't have a transponder key computer with my donor. My main question: Will I get the engine running with out the transponder key computer or do we need it? Is there any way I can get the stock LS430 computer 'talk' with the IS200 immobilizer? This might be pushing the decision in going aftermarket ECU.
