gs400 tiptronic

I recentley purchased a 98 gs400 that head on crashed into a parked car at 35mph. Since reinstalling the front clip, new control arms, motor and tranny mounts ,radiator and so on....the car runs and drives like new but there is still a problem with the tiptronic shifting. When I shift into manual mode the display shows that it is in 5th gear m mode when I hit the buttons to shift they do nothing. Also the vsc and vsc off lights are on and the button also does nothing. I'm hoping you guys can help.

That is a mouth full. I would suspect possible a relay or ecu of some sort is malfunction, but again i would be wrong.

It was falure to locate a bused wire in the harness so now its working just fine.
