I assume you have a 93 or newer LS ? The brake light wear indicator has to be reset. I use a service tool however if you have the Service Manual, there is probably a procedure for a DIY'r to reset the light.
I would pull the codes ( if any ) from the Air Bag light before I reset it ( taking the battery out will not reset the light ) You will have to reset according to the service manual procedures.
Maybe a member with an LS service manual could scan the pages for you or search on Lextreme's site. He has ALOT of info already scanned and posted.
