Cable on ls400 4 speed

Hi,

I have fitted a 4 speed trans to my VVti motor so I can use the Surf 4x4 System easily.

The 5 speed i removed was completly electronic, however the 4 speed has something like a throttle cable hanging out of the side.

What does this do and what should I connect it to?

I think thats the "kickdown" cable which needs to be connected to the throttle body , . Also these gearboxes need that cable to "tell" the auto what torque is needed depending on position of the throttle.

that cable controls the line pressure, you could find an A341 valve body that is also electronic line pressure.... what are you using to control the transmission?

I have a 341 it has a cable and 4 solenoids,
Does the cable only control kick down?

Cable is line pressure. Kickdown is controlled by the ECU which would probably get a combination of signals such as TPS and speed
