Alternator move...

Evenin' all.....

The alternator couldn't have ended up any more on top of my PAS box if i tried to make them hit!!! Has any one on here moved the alternator on a 1UZ? I have a few fabrication tools to hand so I can make brackets and pully ect but was wondering if there was any one out there who had done it before? Any photos would be great!!!

Yes Rover's have that problem.

Just shift it to where the air compressor was or find a new spot above the power steering pump.

The serpentine belt wants to eat engine covers when you re-route it.

If you have a pre 95 ( I think) none VVTI you will find the fan is not the same and the bracket won't fit, I have the kit but so far have not been able to mount it in front, still working on it.
