Does anyone know if the 98+ rear end would swap into a early year, 90-94 LS? The subframe in a 98 looks way different. But this swap would take the gear ratios from 3.62 to 3.27. Good for someone who doesn't have an automatic tranny any more :scratchchin: Are there any aftermarket performance LSDs that would work?

A graph showing the difference between the two. I suppose 3.62 wouldn't be so bad.

Sniper, I researched this as well and I think there are two options. You swap over the COMPLETE subframe with the axles and arms. Make sure you have a donor with or without air suspension depending on the vehicle you put it on.
The other option is building the ring & pinion into the UCF10 pumpkin, that is what I am doing currently and I don't know if it's possible but I will find out soon!

Thanks. The subframes swap. but the diff flanges are different but they swap. The handbrake needs subtle repositioning, Will road test soon when I have realigned the rear track. Tony mk3 400
