Even thou you have said the spark plugs are new, have you tried checking them? It sounds VERY similar to my prob, apparently the computer that is running my 1uz (microtech) isnt the best for writing fuel maps for when the car is cold (or something to that extent) and if the motor isnt warmed up...

As i said in previous comment, one side did have the rotor installed incorrectly, but even after correcting that... still seems to run rough as guts

Sounds like i got another day to waste then... Took apart the left dizzi, and it appeared that the help i had, wasnt much help as the Rotor button was forced on the wrong way... So i turned it around and still same prob... Looks like ur right yodathespian87... as i cant be 100% sure if crank...

I replaced the water pump on the weekend, had a mate check the timing belt before i put it all back together, and now its not firing properly. I have got a link to a vid of how its running.. Can sumone please help! If it is the timing... does this mean i have to pull it all apart and start...

I was talking to my mechanic mate who is also familar with the 1uz, and he said dont bother, just get corrosion inhibitor as thats all u need, and it actually runs a lil cooler than other stuff. he said its the stuff int he lil 500ml bottle that dilutes into 15L of distilled water..?

awesome, just what i needed to hear, thanx mate... was a bit worried as i shopped around for water pumps... Repco = $400 Autobarn = $360 Global Auto Spares = $240 and Cheapa Auto Spares = $160! Was beginning to think i didnt need the water pump..
