I could use the by-pass pipe manifold...not sure what it is actually called.
It connects to the upper radiator hose, runs to both heads and is connects to the thermostat housing.
would you sell it alone and if so how much?

My 94 LS 400 has a need for a replacement by-pass pipe due to corrosion. It is the pipe that attaches to the upper radiator hose that actually goes to the thermostat housing and both heads. Anyone got a spare motor that might have one of these?
thanks in advance

heater core
thanks,
I have considered the heater core. Anyone replaced one? I have not looked for it but have replaced some tough ones on other vehicles. Sometimes they are pretty easy, some have to remove the world to get to it.
cheers.
climate control
thanks for the reply.
It has never been removed. It just started blowing cooler air one day rather than heat no matter how high the setting. The AC still works fine.
If it is the climate control, can it be repaired?
any suggestions other than climate control repair to start with?
climate control and heat
I can read the lcd but recently the heater is not very effective. When on max hot and auto, the ac is lit up. It is just not hot as before. Is this the climate control or something else?
Is there a fix for this issue?
thanks in advance
I have found several posts about rebuilding the rear suspension. Mine is wearing tires and needs to be repaired. I rebuilt the front thanks to this forum. thanks so much for the help!!
Any suggestions as to where to start on the rear? Most posts suggest the bushings are shot. Any location for...
thanks again for the reply... thought it possible to bypass.
I did clean the tb while I had to take it off to do the bypass...now the idle is fast. cant seem to get it to drop after warm up. Must have a vacumn off or something but I sure cant find it. Was hoping it was not because I bypassed...
thanks for the reply.
Actually coolant was pouring from the tb at the hole I was referring to. After the bypass, there are no leaks, oil in the coolant, nor temp problems. But I have not driven it very far since the bypass.
I had a coolant leak on the throttle body area. When I removed the tb, what looks like the fifth bolt hole (other 4 holes bolt to the intake) had a small hole in it from, I assume, corrosion. Not knowing what to reseal or repack the hole with, I bypassed the tb with a heater hose. I then...
My wifes car left coolant on the driveway and the garage last night. It is coming from the area under the throttle body. It is hard to see but a steady stream is pouring from the area.
What would be the logical diagnosis? suggestions?
thanks in advance.
thanks,
The reason I have asked is that one wheel sensor line of my car is cut into right at the sensor. I have soldered them to the sensor and the light is not on. But I am afraid the repair will be temporary. Rather than replacing with a new one, I was trying to come up with a fix. If the...
