Kai e30 v8

Hi guys new to the forum name is kai from south africa cape town
I have a bmw e30 1uz v8 and went to the track last week and after a small burnout i couldn't get any reverse?some guys said some transmission fluid came out,no leaks the next morning,drives fine in D and when i select R there is no engagement.
Then driving from the track i notice my battery light go and checked at the alternator there is no charge.
Please any help or where to look or to find out whats the issue....thanks guys
