Just going off from what I read, the best move is to use the 1uz transmission. It is beefier internally than what comes in your 90 Series and can be mated up to your transfer box really easily.

Had something similar to this (Delrin though) in my 99 Cobra. It was an amazing transformation to the vehicle. The kit I used had aluminum bushings for the diff though. Delrin everywhere else.

From all the reading I have done in Cebby's threads, you need a Tundra/LS400 torque converter, LS400 bellhousing and that is it.

Definately watching this! I know 3rd Gen Runners like mine don't have the same issues as you but tech is tech and I will bring out the hammer if necessary! Yahoo!!!!!! (really hyper, sorry).
