thats a fair statment guess the only way 2 stop breaking mounts is 2 chain the beast down its only 1 side that has all the stress so only 1 chain will sort out breaking mounts as long as its in square it shouldnt be a issue anyway let us know if u break any cheers

do the mounts from castlemaine rod shop use toyota rubber .the reason i ask is the quality of toy mounts are so much better than holden i have seen a few conversions with mounts that keep breaking toyota ones are much bigger and probably with good reason. cheers 4 now

hi merclex if u can get a rear sump 1uz it might fit but a toyota crown mid sump with the steel section modded is a better option due 2 the price of buying a rear sump engine which is harder 2 find and if u mount the engine back as far as possible the mid sump has good clearance as 4 the gearbox...

yes you are spot on tailshaft is the only differnce and only $100 to modify as 4 weight when i took out the jag motor and installed a 350 chev the front came up 20-25cm had to put lower springs in . when the 1uz went in it went up another 25cm the only thing that weighs heavy left is the diff...

hi blackcat sounds like ur getting it together ok mounting the motor forward will affect handling i have mounted my 2 turbos in front and run the headders up in line with the rocker covers a single pipe goes past the rack causing zero heating issues im new 2 computers but i will try 2 put pics...
