It seems that this particular issue, Low rpm,misfires,no accelerations,smells of unburned fuel etc etc are pretty common on the ls400 gen1/2.But with all the info available through this forum and others it is also quite easy to pinpoint the culprits.coils or kinked plug cables being the main...

It seems to be a pretty common fault with a aging 1uz...but gentlemen, i need some opinion in pin-pointing or diagnosing MY particular problem as lexus standard mechanics, diagnostic tools and spare-parts are hard to come by in my vicinity... no cel shown.. strong smell of un-burned fuel...
