Yeah, sorry. I could have been more specific. Will the 01' or 02 transmission mount up to the 98 motor? Will there be any electronic other other issues using an 01' or 02' in a 98 GS400. Thanks.

The tranny in my 98GS400 is on its last leg. I need a replacement. Can anybody tell if the tranny from the 01' or 02 GS430s will fit? Or, can you tell me how to find out? The dealer I just talked to doesn't know. Thanks!!
