Hey, I'm thinking about selling one of my other projects and using the money to put into my sc400. I Had a few questions before I do it. Mostly wiring, ecu selection and coil on plug conversion.
Firstly, does anyone make a plug and play ecu still? If not does anyone have a wiring loom...
I have a question for my set up. when you said the stock injectors were at their edge, is that with a 3 inch pulley? Will the factory ecu run with a 3" pulley and stock injectors?
nvm just saw that blackuzz31 is running a 3.3 inch pulley. can i run a factory ecu at 8 psi?
From what I know of both high power and high rev un-opened early 1uz's. I think that you will run into valve float before you over stress the rods/rod bolts, unless you go with all new valve-train components. I think if you are going to go with cams as agressive as you are, and are worrying...
Your better off just going ahead and getting a 2uz. It will be a lot cheaper than over boring a 1uz and with the 1uz rods in place it should be pretty bulletproof. On another note... I think you'll be fine without cams. And one last note... Just get a smaller supercharger pulley with a well...
I have a few questions:
1. Would something like the ttc stoker crank require block clearancing to fit?
2. How much would a custom crank cost from a company in the U.s. like scat or Callies?
3. How much can a 2uz be over bored?
I'm sorry if any of these have been covered before I...
I have a new set of IMF headers that I would like to trade for a set of rush imports long tubes. Possibly with money on my side.
I will have pictures up when I get back from Christmas vacation.
Good advice, that probably would help. It's a 1992 sc400 non California spec. I'm trying to install an m112 on a richwood manifold... Anything else needed for info?
